Ages 10+
Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – noon. (with informal studio time from noon – 3:00 p.m.)
$250 + $50 materials fee

This class is designed for those who are new or fairly new to the medium of watercolour. Using meditation to develop our powers of inner and outer observation, we will be inspired by the natural beauty surrounding us at Naramata. There will be lots of time to play, and participants will focus on process over product.  Let’s see what happens when we pay attention and then let go! Guided, whole group classes will take place from 9:00 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday.  From noon until 3:00 p.m., our classroom will become a voluntary studio space for work on self-selected projects and/or step-by-step instruction of specific compositions as we learn to paint landscapes using photos. I will also be bringing some silk painting supplies for those who wish to apply what we are learning to silk. A beginner kit and paper to take with you at the end of the class will be provided in the materials fee.  Feel free to bring your own supplies as well.
