Welcome Volunteers!

Feel the dirt between your fingers and smell the fresh Spring air! Naramata Centre is welcoming volunteers to find a connection to Earth during our Spring Cleanup. Join us as we tend to the grounds in reverence to nature.

Rooms are provided to volunteers at no cost, but part of your volunteer service will include cleaning in and out of your accommodations.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own tools, safety glasses, gloves, and so on.  However, the Naramata Centre will have extra tools and equipment on hand with extra precautions taken for proper sanitization between uses.

Use this time as an opportunity to find peace and serenity in the outdoors while giving back to the community.

Schedule:

Arrive: May 5 / Depart: May 11 2024. Come for the full week or stay for just a few nights.

Check-in day (Sunday, May 5 after 3PM)

• We suggest volunteers arrive on Sunday to meet fellow volunteers and Centre Staff at a group dinner.

Weekdays (May 6-10)

• We will begin each day at 9:00AM and break for lunch at 12:30PM.
• Lunch will be provided Monday through Friday.
• Afternoon work is optional.

Check-out day (Saturday, May 11 by 10AM)

• Saturday morning is reserved for cleaning with check-out at 10AM.

Local volunteers are also encouraged to join us during any days they are available (whether or not dates are consecutive).
