The Quiet Half of the Year
August 23 to October 12. The lake is still warm. The crowds have gone home. The trees are about to do their best work.
The week after Summer Sessions wraps is the one regulars tell you about. Mornings cool down. The lake holds its summer heat through September. Vineyards on the Naramata Bench turn gold and red. The dock is mostly yours.
This is the season when a cottage feels most like a cottage. The grounds are quiet again. A walk through the Sacred Garden takes as long as it takes.
There is no scheduled programming during these weeks, and that is the point. Stay a midweek, a long weekend, or the full week. If you want a week with community life, music, and shared rhythm, our Summer Sessions run July 11 to August 23.
No additional fees:
Late Summer and Fall stays are accommodation-only. You pay only for accommodation (plus pet fee if applicable).
