The equinox is a momentary balance of day and night.
Light and darkness are held in equal power.
This tender space offers insights from the natural world on how to creatively hold the tension.

These months of pandemic and uncertainty reveal a host of paradoxes and contradictions. My heart is pulled in various directions. My values and my actions can seem at odds. My strengths falter as my weaknesses come into play. I can feel more dissonance than harmony. I long for the courage and wisdom to be true to it all.

Dan Hines guides a soulful encounter, along with other guest leaders who will provide practices of exploration and encouragement.

A flow of inspiring music, mindfulness and meditation, poetry and reflective listening and speaking will all assist us as we delve into the heart of the promise of paradox.

Join us for a party with meaning: a musical, seasonal and meditative celebration with depth.

This event is co-hosted by the Naramata Centre and the Sorrento Centre and will be held online and by donation for Sorrento and Naramata Centres

** This event will be followed by a Winter Equinox celebration on Dec. 21, 2021 **
