Are you yearning to continue in meaningful and uplifting conversations about aging?

These gatherings are open to those who have attended The Possibility of Age: Discover Aging as a Spiritual Path or a Spiritual Eldering Retreat at Naramata Centre

Fall Series – Flourishing as We Age:  Harvesting Wisdom; Deepening Presence

“Do not confuse physical vitality or ‘youthfulness’ with be-ing vitality… which shines through even a shattered container.”
—Cynthia Bourgeault

How do we cultivate being-vitality—a deep, inner sense of well-being that remains steady through the storms of life?

As we move into the harvest season, our monthly sage-ing circles will offer a sacred space to gather, reflect, and harvest our wisdom. Together, we will:

  • Discover how to nurture being-vitality by recognizing and honoring what truly sustains and nourishes us.
  • Acknowledge the quiet griefs of aging while gently welcoming what is emerging in their place.
  • Explore simple, heartfelt ways to cultivate positive emotions—such as gratitude, joy, compassion, and awe—to enrich our presence and deepen our sense of aliveness.

Through reflection, dialogue, and shared conversation, we will open to healing, guidance, and inspiration—empowering us to live more radiantly, with greater peace and joy, and to grow into soulful elders who bring light and steadiness to a chaotic world.

What are Sage-ing Circles?

Aging consciously and becoming a wise elder is a process that can be greatly enriched by the company of like-minded companions. But in our youth-based culture it is not easy to find a community of people willing to talk about life and death, aging and meaning, beginnings and endings, and all of the letting go that is part of aging. To help create and nurture community, we are offering this series of Sage-ing Circles which will empower you to embrace both the challenges and opportunities of life’s third chapter.  We will explore principles and practices that cultivate wisdom, peace, gratitude, and the unfolding of your full potential.

These live, online gatherings will blend:

  • Slowing down, reflecting, and listening to your inner wisdom.
  • Exploring ideas and practices of transformative aging.
  • Engaging in dialogue with others about things that matter.
  • Learning from and being encouraged by the wisdom of the group.
  • Reflecting and taking action between sessions.

This event is offered through the partnership of

Pacific Jubilee and Naramata Centre

Bursary funds are available through Naramata Centre.
