Let’s make music together! Learn the basics of the Ukulele and become a musician over the summer. Linnea will teach basic chords and strums and a little bit of the magical world of music reading and note picking. Our forty-five minute sessions will be fast-moving, full of humour and not a little goofiness. With music from camp, folk, pop, Beethoven, Naramata and Christian sources, this is the perfect activity for grandparents and children, staycation-ers and those who want to make this summer a meaningful and memorable one for years to come.

You will need:

a ukulele (soprano, concert or tenor-sized)

a tuner (or phone app to tune)

a computer, phone or tablet with cell or wifi service

access to printing technology (I’ll send a pdf of a booklet)

a silent/private room to park your device and yourself in

(if you can get your hands on small stick-on dots, it would be fantastic: 2@ green, blue and yellow)
