Poets have the capacity to speak of great matters with just a ‘splash of words’ on a page…
They have a way of shaping language so that their words cut to the heart of our passion for life and our concern for those things that violate life. In these five 150-minute sessions we will let the work of fine poets guide us in our consideration of many things that are on our hearts and minds these days. The character of the gatherings will be invitational, safe, reflective and affirming.
This is the sixth poetry series that Tim Scorer has offered through Naramata. Tim will choose a variety of poems for each of the five evenings organized around five themes which generally emerge from the lively conversations of the group.
Poems for each Tuesday evening will be sent out ahead of each session.
