“It is through your body that you realize

you are a spark of divinity.”

—B.K.S. Iyengar

Breathe…Feel…Soften….Release.
In this gentle yoga-based class you’ll learn how to listen deeply to body, mind, heart, and Spirit, in both movement and in stillness. In these unsettling times, learn practices to regulate and soothe your nervous system to create a safe and welcoming space where you can remain present to whatever arises in your practice and your life. As we listen deeply in this integrated way, we can soften and release tension and pain from our bodies, let go of limiting thoughts and beliefs, and open to the whispers of Spirit that are always waiting to be heard. Finally, close out your class with the practice of Yoga Nidra, a lying down form of meditation to rest, to relax, and heal on many levels.

You’ll discover that by listening deeply to ourselves, we develop the capacity to listen deeply to a world so in need of our calm and steady presence.

Equipment and Modifications

This gentle yoga practice is accessible to all levels of experience and practice, including beginners, as Vickie has training in adapting to different

You’ll need:

  • a yoga mat,
  • a blanket,
  • pillow,
  • and a tie or strap.
  • If you have yoga blocks or a bolster, that’s helpful but not required.
