Liz DiMarino

Liz DiMarino has been a Music Specialist with the Calgary Board of Education for 22 years where she currently teaches grades 5-9 music. Her program features general music at all grade levels as well as band, vocal, and piano classes. Liz has a strong background in teaching using Orff Pedagogy and holds Level III Orff Certification. She has a passion for choral music and shares her love of singing as the director of Calgary’s Westside Senior Concert Choir. Liz has enjoyed being guest conductor and workshop clinician for various organizations in Alberta and B.C. She was a semi-finalist in the Excellence in Teaching awards and was presented with a Service of Excellence certificate from the Alberta Government for her contribution to school music. Outside of work, Liz enjoys a busy life with her husband, two teenage boys, and their basenji, Murphy.
