David Sherwin & Marilou Reeve

Marilou Reeve and David Sherwin have been married for nearly 40 years. For much of that time, they have been talking, thinking and praying about and for the many communities, including communities of faith, to which they have belonged. They have dreamed of communities that are deep, compassionate and faithful. This dream was strengthened this spring when they spent Holy Week and Easter with the Iona Community at the Iona Abby in Scotland and experienced the power of living in a Christian Community of Practice. This summer they are beginning a new chapter in that dreaming as they work with others to birth a Christian community of practice in Naramata, in partnership with the Naramata Centre.

David brings 35 years of experience in ministry within the United Church of Canada, Marilou an equal experience in the practice of law in the areas of youth, restorative and Indigenous justice.
